First, let’s see what exactly terms jailbreak and emulator means. Further, we will see how to get Pokemon on iPhone.
What is Jailbreak?
In simple words, Jailbreak is to bypass all the locks of your iPhone, iPad or iPod. By jailbreaking your device, you are able to install all the cool unofficial applications and tweaks. It allows you to change the icons, dock, status bar, chat bubbles, weather backgrounds and much more. But the disadvantage of jailbreak is it voids your phone’s warranty and hackers can easily access your phone. Hence, we would recommend not opting for jailbreaking.
What is Emulator?
The option to access the unofficial apps is to install an available emulator for your iPhone. An emulator is basically software that replicates the usage as on the original device or system. Emulators are specifically designed for developers for testing apps and other programs.
The most popular two emulators are GBA4iOS (GameBoy Advance) and NDS4iOS (Nintendo DS). Download GBA4iOS if you want to play gba4ios games like Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, LeafGreen or the Originals. If you want to play the Nintendo DS versions of Pokémon (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HG SS, Black, White, B2, and W2), download the NDS4iOS emulator. These emulators will support all iPhone and iPad models, including iPhone 4/4S/5/5C/6/6 Plus and iPad Mini/Air, iPad ¾.
